Our Big Project...

    49 Franklin is the address of a former Methodist Church built in 1896. The land was donated by Rumford town father Hugh J. Chisolm. The Methodists occupied the building until 1990 when consolidation forced them to sell the 49 Franklin street property and use only it's Virgina section of town church for all of it's congregation. 

    The Grassette family bought the building in 2003 and have continuously worked weekends and vacations to bring the building into code for the 22nd century. Very soon the building will be busy with the community gathering for weddings, celebrations, meetings and reunions.

Please join us as we continue our adventurous project. We are expecting to be open in the not too distant future! Check back often as we add our progress to this website.
